The Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Kansas City (SCLCKC) is dedicated to the continuation of Dr. King's dream in Metropolitan Kansas City and is proud to announce our membership campaign. Our members understand the need for representation for social action through non-violent, civil disobedience and direct action to support Greater Kansas City’s African American and underrepresented communities. Our members and supporters engage in such strategies as advocacy, activism, protest, community organizing, petitioning, litigation, lobbying, civil dis-obedience, and other forms of non-violent direct action to advance social and racial justice for African Americans and all underrepresented communities.
