Fredrecka S. McGlown
Fredrecka S. McGlown is a proud native of East St. Louis, Illinois. In December 2012, McGlown received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Media Studies from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and in May 2015, she graduated with a Master of Arts in Communication from the same institution.
McGlown is the CEO and Founder of Black Girl Millennial World, LLC., and the author of Hey, Lil' Black Girl...It's Your World. Her aim is to elevate, educate, and empower black girl millennials on how to successfully maneuver through life, relationships, and the workplace beyond college Fredrecka is a full-time Life Coach at The Excel Center-St. Louis through MERS Goodwill Industries where she is responsible for helping students (ages of 21 and up) obtain their high school diploma and overcome their academic, personal, and professional barriers.
In July 2018, McGlown was named by the St. Louis Business Journal as one of their “30 Under 30” Young Business Professional honorees for her outstanding work in youth
advocacy, education, and community empowerment.
