TWO SIGNATURE EVENTS VIRTUALLY THIS YEAR!

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference of Greater Kansas City (SCLC-GKC) will this year present the SCLC-GKC Annual 2021 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Celebration over

a Virtual Webinar platform. The theme this year is

“Defending Democracy, Making Peace, and Advancing Justice.”

This year’s focus both celebrates the power of the black and brown vote as demonstrated in the November presidential election and pinpoints an ongoing crisis of insufficient political engagement from communities of color and other poor communities.
